Description

The authors tested 304 game birds harvested by members of a remote First Nation community in subarctic Ontario to determine whether they had avian influenzia virus (AIV). While only low pathogenic strains of AIV were found, the authors recommend that monitoring be continued and expanded to safeguard human health.
