Environment, Development, Trust, and Well-being in the Tsawwassen First Nation

Description

This thesis aims to address a gap in knowledge on understanding well-being and self-governance in relation to modern treaties. It presents findings from a survey measuring multiple aspects of well-being commissioned by the Tsawwassen First Nation in the summer of 2012, including the seemingly paradoxical perspectives held in the community that well-being is connected both to the health of the natural environment and to economic development.
