Description

Drawing on data from the Qanuippitaa? Health Survey, conducted in Nunavik, the authors aimed to examine the impact of mercury levels on blood pressure among Inuit adults. The study found that mercury exposure was associated with increasing blood and pulse pressures among this population, after considering the effect of fish nutrients (n-3 fatty acids and selenium) and other cofounders.
