Description

This article provides a review of evidence on the environmental factors that increase the risk of developing cardiometabolic diseases in Indigenous populations in developed countries. A key finding of this review is that, thus far, it is the features of populations not of places themselves that have been implicated in relation to cardiometabolic diseases.
