Epidemiological and genomic determinants of tuberculosis outbreaks in First Nations communities in Canada

Description

The authors examine the epidemiological and genomic determinants of two TB outbreaks among First Nations living in Alberta using DNA fingerprinting methods, comparing isolates, extracting epidemioloical variables pertaining to TB cases and contacts from individual public health records and the provincial TB registry, conducting group analyses, and carrying out whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatic analysis.
