Description

This article reports on findings from a qualitative study that aimed to build capacity in treatment and support for individuals and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder in remote and rural communities in BC and Alberta. Stakeholders identified protective factors in the community, change efforts via autism spectrum disorder, the benefits and challenges of providing care in rural communities, and opportunities for building capacity for support in autism spectrum disorder.
