Description

This article provides a review of literature on approaches to Indigenous cultural training for health workers and assesses their implementation within Australia. The review highlights the generally poor available evidence on the effectiveness of Indigenous cultural training programmes, suggesting that a 'cultural safety' model might be the most effective for improving health services for Indigenous Australians.
