This paper presents findings from a qualitative study with First Nations in northern BC about what worked and did not work in environmental impact assessment processes, focussing specifically on the perspectives of a subset of resource industry proponents and their consultants, as well as staff from the BC Environmental Assessment Office, on their experiences with the requirement to consult with Indigenous Peoples.
