Description

The authors describe how remote Arctic communities have handled the COVID-19 pandemic. They argue that the remoteness of these communities has helped keep cases of COVID-19 low and where outbreaks have occurred, Indigenous knowledge and traditions combined with effective public health interventions have helped communities fight the pandemic.
