The authors utilize a Mi'kmaw environmental health research framework to guide the interpretation of oral histories from Pictou Landing First Nation knowledge holders about the relationship they have to a culturally significant lagoon and the impacts that have occurred since the lagoon became polluted by effluent from a pulp and paper mill.
