This article reviews literature on interventions for reducing prejudice and the methodological rigour of that research. The authors found that very few of the studies identified can convincingly speak to questions related to whether, why, and what interventions work and conclude that while some intergroup contact and cooperation interventions appear promising, further research is needed to identify prejudice-reduction strategies that work.
