Description

The authors undertook a qualitative study assessing how the health of First Nations were impacted by the breach of the Mount Polley Mine, which released tailings into local water bodies. Four key impacts were identified: environmental dispossession, emotional stress, altered dietary patterns, and changes in physical activity.
