Description

Using data from the Australian Early Development Census linked by health records, this study aims to quantify the relationship between maternal age at childbirth and early childhood development outcomes in Indigenous and non-Indigenous children in Australia. The study highlighted developmental vulnerability among Indigenous children across most of the maternal age ranges, especially among children born to young mothers.
