Description

This study investigated the relationship between exposure to several polyhalogenated compounds (PHCs) and thyroid hormone homeostatis in Inuit adults from Nunavik. The authors measured thyroid parameters and concentrations of 41 contaminants and found that exposure to several PHCs was associated with modifications of the thyroid parameters in adult Inuit.
