An overview of the current state of TB in Canada, including an evaluation of the success of current TB health policies and control strategies for specific Canadian sub-populations; determination of the impact of detection, intervention, compliance and education strategies on TB incidence and prevalence; development of targets for future interventions; and the importance of leveraging ties with stakeholders to develop a research community to foster national TB control eforts.
