This qualitative study with Métis community members in B.C. explores the complexity of Métis people's relationship with the land, identity, and resilience in the context of colonialism. It highlights the impacts of assimilation and intergenerational trauma on their identity and wellness, and how their relationships with, and responsibilities to, the land have contributed to their resiliency.
