Thompson, G.E., Cameron, R.E., & Fuller-Thomson, E.

Description

This grounded theory study aimed to provide a framework for understanding the contemporary experience of First Nations grandparents. The authors interviewed 15 First Nations grandparents about their experiences of grandparenting and found that their experiences of cultural disruption and past challenges led them to make a commitment to the socialization and cultural health and connection of their grandchildren.
