Description

This article examines the adverse impact of weather fluctuations on relationships between people, place, ways of life and culture, which impacts the mental health of Inuit living in Nunatsiavut. Study findings show the role weather plays in shaping mental wellness, pointing to several avenues for action on climate adaptation policies and programs, and culture-specific investigations and place-based, addressing the mental health effects of climate change.
