The author has used an environmental justice approach to explore the links between biodiversity conservation and food safety for Inuit in Canada, arguing that to have safe food in a rapidly changing environment , the Inuit must have a greater capacity to act at all stages of the decision-making processes relating to the preservation of biodiversity.
