A holistic healer, creator of culturally based programs
Dr. Warner Adam is a member of Lake Babine Nation in British Columbia. As the founder and CEO of Carrier Sekani Family Services, Dr. Adam has addressed primary care and child welfare needs in northwestern BC for over 36 years, emphasizing holistic healing through Indigenous values and focusing on community capacity building. His work is instrumental in the research and design of programs that are culturally based to serve First Nations people.
Dr. Adam is a founding member of the National Collaborating Centre for Indigenous Health’s Advisory Committee.
