Elaine Kilabuk
Advancing Northern and Indigenous health
Dr. Kilabuk is a Nunavut Inuk who has dedicated her career to advancing Northern and Indigenous health. She completed her medical training at McGill University, followed by her residency and fellowship training at The University of Ottawa. She is a General Internal Medicine physician who works at The Ottawa Hospital and Qikiqtani Hospital in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Dr. Kilabuk currently sits on the Ottawa Health Services Network Inc. Board of Directors and Osteoporosis Canada Board of Directors. In 2025, Dr. Kilabuk received the King Charles III Medal in recognition of her valuable contribution to her community.
