Chantelle Richmond
Researching Indigenous health and knowledge systems with the context of climate change
Dr. Chantelle Richmond (Biigtigong Nishnaabeg) is a Professor in the Department of Geography and Environment and Indigenous Studies Program at Western University in London, Ontario, where she holds the Canada Research Chair on Indigenous Health and the Environment. Dr. Richmond is a health geographer by training, and her research is based on a community-engaged model of research that explores the intersection of Indigenous people’s health and knowledge systems within the context of global environmental change.
