This document summarizes the report Revisiting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Indigenous Peoples in Canada: A report on progress. The full report provides an update on progress achieved in meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets for First Nations peoples, Inuit, and Métis peoples. This report builds off of the National Collaborating Centre of Indigenous Health’s initial assessment on achieving the SDG targets, released in 2018. The report tracks progress on 17 SDGs in five thematic areas and offers new recommendations for moving forward on the 2030 Agenda for the betterment of Indigenous Peoples.
