CLOSING THE CIRCLE - FALL 2026
CLOSING THE CIRCLE
FALL 2026

With the change of seasons in the traditional territories of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation and beyond comes a change in our everyday lives. Summer holidays come to an end, school begins again, routines shift, and the days gradually become shorter. These changes are a natural part of life - and a reminder that our health and wellbeing can evolve alongside us. To support these transitions, we’re looking forward to sharing this season’s NCCIH newsletter, including new resources to support healthy aging.

In the fall of 2025, the NCCIH began work on a series of healthy aging booklets for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis adults (18-49 years) and older adults (50+years) in Canada. The healthy aging resources are grounded in the belief that healthy aging is a lifelong process that can start at any age.
