Description

This article examines the relevance and shortcomings of anti-racism and critical race theories in the context of anti-Indigenous racism, and explores the manifestations of anti-Indigenous racism in adult education environments. The article highlights the need for Indigenous and non-Indigenous educators to confront personal feelings and perspectives in the classroom and unpack how their experiences contribute to or detract from effective pedagogical approaches in a culturally safe context.
