This thesis explores perspectives and experiences of healthcare providers who are considered Champions of Cultural Safety in BC. Key findings of the study included the importance of the client and healthcare provider relationship as the cornerstone of cultural safety, the insufficiency of organizational strategies to support cultural safety in the current context, and the persistence of structural barriers to cultural safety.
