This article assesses the perspectives of various actors regarding the needs of Inuit youth living in a residential facility in Montreal, and discuss how the various perspectives diverge and converge and the importance of culture in these discourses. The authors conclude that developing culturally appropriate care for Inuit youth involves multiple groups of individuals influenced by their own professional and personal cultures, and that merging these diverse perspectives can potentially lead to the creation of innovative and culturally sensitive practices.
