This article responds to a list of directives for advocacy to end AIDS among Indigenous Peoples developed in 2017 by Indigenous leaders in the HIV and AIDS community. The article provides a review of progress achieved in upholding the UNDRIP and directives outlined in the International Indigenous HIV and AIDS Community statement in relation to HIV and AIDS.
