In this commentary, the author discusses the need to rebuild the economy and create jobs post COVID-19 by pushing major resource development projects in partnership with Indigenous communities. This will ensure that they are fully included in resource projects that cross their territories, that they are part of the solution, and to address existing socio-economic inequalities.
