The author undertook qualitative research using a participatory action approach to examine the Aamjiwnaag First Nation's struggles for environmental and reproductive justice in Canada's "Chemical Valley". She documents the activities and practices of community members as they cope with the impacts of environmental contamination on their health and habitat, highlighting ongoing practices of resistance.
