Association of Native Child and Family Services Agencies of Ontario
This program is intended for social workers in both Indigenous and non-Indigenous child and family services agencies to provide them with a more culturally appropriate and effective approach to engaging caregivers in the care of Indigenous children and youth in need. The program is grounded in Indigenous philosophies, values, and practices focused on child and youth caring traditions and aims to help caregivers of Indigenous children and youth learn about these traditions and how they have been interrupted by historical events.
