Description

This toolkit has its origins in the Legacy of Hope Foundation's Bridging our Communities Research Project, which aimed to gather data about promising healing practices and community-based initiatives that promote healing and decolonization and address the legacy of the Indian Residential Schools for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. It describes characteristics of promising healing practices and identifies 41 promising healing practices, with information provided on the specific operational relevance of the practice, the healing characteristics of the practice, and a community-based example.
