The authors conducted a literature review to explore the experiences and responses to COVID-19 in Indigenous communities in Canada, particularly the impacts of the disease on physical health and wellness. Key findings highlighted the disproportionate effects that Indigenous communities have experienced from the pandemic, but also the strengths embedded in community-led initiatives that focused on promoting holistic health.
