Description

Many hospitals in Canada have created Traditional Healing Spaces (THSs) to provide a source of healing for Indigenous patients; however, no formal evaluations have been conducted on the effectiveness of these THSs to date. This article examines the THSs within the Center for Addiction and Mental Health, describing what they look like, how they are used and by whom, and what the benefits are, for clients and staff alike.
