Description

This qualitative study examines the perspectives of health practitioners about integrating human health considerations into environmental impact assessment, using three mining case studies in northern Canada. The study reveals that human health considerations have not been given adequate attention on such processes, with the focus being primarily on physical health impacts rather than on social and other health impacts.
