Description

In this dissertation, the author examines the importance of country food and nutrition for Inuit women and children in Nunavut. The author synthesizes literature from a scoping review examining Inuit country food and nutrition in the early life period. The author then presents findings from a community-based study identifying nutrition and food security research priorities in the territory and from a mixed methods study describing nutrition and vitamin D supplement experiences in pregnancy and infancy.
