Description

This MOU, involving the FSIN and the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan, establishes a formal partnership aimed at: 1) addressing health disparities between First Nations and other Saskatchewan residents; 2) improving the coordination of health and wellness programs for First Nations; 3) improving the recruitment, retention and participation of First Nations in the health system; 4) establishing and defining a collaborative and coordinated tripartite partnership for improving the health of First Nations; and 5) establishing a planning process to develop a 10-year First Nations health and wellness plan.
