Drawing on data from a questionnaire administered to Nunavimmiut adults, the authors examined associations between sex, socioeconomic characteristics, support, community involvement, residential school attendance, and 10 forms of adverse childhood experiences. They found a high prevalence of experiencing at least one form of childhood adversity, which was associated with social outcomes in adulthood, and discuss implications for the planning of health and community services in Nunavik.
