This toolkit is a resource for health care administrators and professionals. It brings together tools, knowledge and resources to address health inequality in cancer care settings. It defines key terms and approaches, including cultural safety; discusses key frameworks in understanding health disparities; provides an overview of key considerations and steps to implementing an equity and diversity strategy for health care administrators; and identifies key considerations for training and education in diversity and equity for healthcare professionals and volunteers in healthcare settings.
