The authors describe findings from a collaborative, community-based project that sought to identify the health needs and priorities of Indigenous people living in Surrey, BC; determine the methodologies that should be used when researching culture and health; and explore how existing data connected to the Indigenous population in Surrey can be accessed to better align with the research priorities of that Indigenous population.
