Description

This joint submission report positions gender, Two-Spirit identity, and Indigenous youth within the child welfare system in Ontario. The report presents cultural safety and cultural competence in Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ youth placement in the child welfare system, and provides recommendations for ensuring meaningful engagement and cultural safety of Two-Spirit youth.
