This article provides a brief analysis of data from the Aboriginal Children's Survey 2006 to enhance understanding about the conditions under which First Nations, Inuit and Métis children are living and growing. Specifically, it reports on measures related to location of residence, size and composition of families, involvement of others in raising the child, family interactions, aspects of home and daily life, and participation in traditional and cultural activitites.
