The Ministry of Children and Youth Services is working with the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation and First Nations, Inuit, Métis, and urban Indigenous partners to co-implement an Indigenous Child and Youth Strategy that aims to improve outcomes for children and youth engaging with Child and Youth Services. The strategy aims to transform the system of services into one that is culturally appropriate, preventive, and community-based, with services and programs that are designed, delivered, and governed by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
