The authors present a model for planning, implementing, and reviewing tuberculosis outbreak management in Cree Indigenous communities. Based on the Medicine Wheel, the model provides a pathway for establishing respectful cross-cultural relationships, expressing values through action, fostering true community engagement and partnership, and establishing culture-based accountability and change processes.
