Funston, L.

Description

This article summarizes key themes from a two-day forum that aimed to identify practice and policy concerns related to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families, and communities in the context of child sexual assault. It explored how services can become more accountable and better engaged with the communities they are designed to support. The forum highlighted the need for sexual assault services that prioritise cultural safety by the meaningful integration of Indigenous worldviews and collaboration between victims and those who sexually harm.
