As part of the "Qanuippitaa?" health survey conducted in Nunavik in 2004, data was collected on heart rate variability and blood pressure among Inuit adults. The authors undertook an analysis of this data and blood mercury concentration to assess associations between mercury exposure and these specific risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
