Description

The authors explore early childhood environmental education, drawing on the ontology and epistemology of an Indigenous  population in Ghana. The authors discuss the integration of environmental education into an early childhood education program and explore the perceptions of teachers, Elders, and children about their experiences. The aim of the project was to determine whether Indigenous ecological knowledge can instill positive environmental attitudes and values among children.
