The author presents findings from a doctoral study examining the state of knowledge relating to Indigenous early learning and child care frameworks and outcomes. The study focused on tensions and opportunities when establishing an ELCC outcomes framework from an Indigenous perspective, and patterns that exist within Indigenous ELCC outcomes frameworks across Canada.
