Alpha House and Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary
This PowerPoint presentation describes an initiative jointly implemented by Alpha House and the Aboriginal Friendship Center of Calgary to enhance service delivery for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies. The goal of the project was to achieve cultural safety through flexibility in terms of conditions and prerequisites for who can use the service, a holistic approach, and grounding of the service in traditional practices.
