Description

This article explores how First Nations youth express pain using narratives and art-based methods. The authors use the Indigenous Medicine Wheel to analyze data from circle sessions and artwork to identify various types of pain and common threads. The study highlights how creating a safe space for First Nations youth to express their pain can provide direction for healthcare providers for culturally appropriate assessment and treatment.
